The SSI Extended Range Nitrox Diving course is an excellent opportunity for divers to learn advanced techniques and procedures for planning decompression dives with nitrox. As a standalone program or as a stepping stone to becoming an SSI Extended Range diver, this course provides the foundational skills necessary for all future technical diving programs.
Divers will use either a Sidemount or Twinset XR Total Diving System to plan and execute decompression dives with a maximum depth of 40 meters/130 feet. The course also covers the use of breathable gases of up to 100% oxygen for decompression.
For those looking for even more advanced training, SSI offers the Extended Range bundle, which includes the Extended Range and Extended Range Nitrox Diving courses. With this bundle, divers will gain a comprehensive understanding of advanced diving techniques and equipment, enabling them to explore deeper and stay underwater longer with confidence and safety.
